The Wittelsbacherbruecke (bridge) has connected for the 19th century Sendling with Giesing, had to be renovated however like almost all bridges after the high water by 1899. At the southern end of the bridge ther is a horseman statue of the first Wittelsbachers that attained the honor to be a Bavarian Duke.
